A practical guide for a changing world

You are trying to keep up with a world that keeps changing.

AI is changing how we work, communicate, learn, make decisions, and imagine the future. You may feel curious, overwhelmed, skeptical, left behind, or unsure where to begin.

You do not need to become an AI expert overnight. You need a clear, thoughtful way to understand what is changing and what it means for you.

A note for you

There is no single right way to enter the AI age.

You can be interested and cautious. You can move slowly. You can ask basic questions. You can protect what matters to you.

You bring the situation

We make sense of it together.

I help people understand AI in relation to their actual lives, work, relationships, responsibilities, and values. Together, we can clarify what matters, what to ignore, what to try, and what questions to ask next.

01

Understand what is changing

Make sense of the technologies, language, and decisions that are suddenly showing up everywhere.

02

Find what matters to you

Separate real opportunities from pressure, hype, fear, and noise.

03

Choose your next step

Leave with a grounded plan that respects your capacity, priorities, and judgment.

A session is a place to think clearly

Bring the question. Leave with a way forward.

01

We name what is actually happening

We separate the real situation from the pressure, assumptions, and noise around it.

02

We identify what matters to you

We look at your priorities, responsibilities, capacity, values, and concerns about AI.

03

We choose a grounded next step

You leave with more clarity about what to try, what to protect, and what can wait.

Sessions can help with

You do not have to figure this out alone.

  • Understanding how AI may affect your work
  • Deciding which tools are worth learning
  • Supporting a parent, partner, child, or colleague
  • Navigating uncertainty about privacy and trust
  • Thinking through AI and disability access
  • Adapting without losing your judgment or humanity

Meet your advisor

I’m Ian.

I’m a researcher, writer, and advisor working across accessibility, disability, relationships, and the social effects of emerging technology.

I bring research, lived experience, and practical pattern recognition to questions that do not fit neatly into one discipline.

My role is not to tell you what to think about AI. It is to help you think clearly about what AI means for your life.

Who are sessions for?

Sessions are for individuals, families, professionals, caregivers, and organizations trying to adapt thoughtfully to a rapidly changing world in the AI age.

Do I need to understand AI before booking?

No. You do not need technical knowledge or prior experience with AI. You can bring a basic question, a difficult situation, or uncertainty about where to begin.

What can we discuss in a session?

Sessions can cover AI and work, choosing useful tools, family and caregiving questions, privacy and trust, accessibility and disability, and adapting without losing judgment or humanity.

Is this technical AI consulting?

The focus is human and practical. Sessions can include technical questions, but the larger goal is helping you understand what AI means in the context of your actual life and make grounded decisions.
